Released in 1969 on Philips, The Power Of The Picts is the debut album by Scottish hard rock and psychedelic outfit Writing On The Wall one of the most obscure and sought-after records to emerge from the British underground scene of the late 60s. Blending heavy riffing with psychedelic textures and progressive ambition, the album is a genuine rarity, with original UK pressings commanding serious collector prices. A must-have for fans of early British hard rock and psych.
