Richie Beirach releases this special live concert on vinyl together with the famous musicians Gregor Hbner, Veit Hbner and Michael Kersting.

STUDIO KONZERT is the audiophile Direct-To-2-Track fully analogue recorded concert series, produced by the Bauer Studios since early 2013 and available in shops as numbered and limited 180g vinyl records with a premium-quality packaging. ‘This is jazz on its highest level (…). This Studio Konzert release definitely worths it.’ says Carsten Drer (Piano News) after Richie Beirach European Quartet’s live concert on October 2015.

Richie Beirach (piano) releases this special live concert on vinyl together with the famous musicians Gregor Hbner (violin), Veit Hbner (doublebass) and Michael Kersting (drums).

In the late 1970s Beirach already recorded at the Bauer Studios for his first solo albums. In October 2015 he visited Ludwigsburg once again to play this memorable concert with his European Quartet.

Not only compositions of Beirach were chosen but also several classics arranged by Beirach and Hbner.

The Richie Beirach European Quartet shows on this vinyl its ability to play its songs and to reinterpret old classics into something completely new.
